"The food and service were wonderful. The bar was way too small, it only fit the couples. The upstairs bar was closed which was large and a much better set up. This was unfortunate because the bartenders skills were great. Close the downstairs one and open upstairs. You'll attract a younger crowd up there. The beef tartare was my favorite dish of the night but my lobster was also great."
"Angeline is a fine dining experience with an Italian influence. The restaurant is known for its focus on Coastal Italian cuisine, including fresh seafood, house-made pasta, and prime steaks. I would focus on quality dishes such as the Crudo, beef carpaccio, homemade pasta, grilled vegetables, and grilled swordfish. The ambiance of Angeline is beautiful and luxurious, contributing to a refined and relaxed dining experience. The service is attentive and knowledgeable. The cocktail and wine service is top-notch. However, one point to note is that the prices are on the higher end, but the overall experience is worth it. When I say expensive, I mean 58 dollars for a decent scotch. Dinner ran about 200 per person. I had a Beef Tartare Bruschetta with tomato sauce and fried capers; it was deliciously, followed by the Lobster Fra Diavolo tonnarelli pasta, Calabrian chile which had a kick to it with the Calabrian chile. It was good, but I am not sure I would order it again. My wife had the Veal Chop Saltimbocca ‘alla Romana’ prosciutto, sage, fried polenta, which I had a bite of, and I thought that was very good."
"My fiancé and I went to Angeline’s for my birthday last night and we were more than impressed! When we first walked in and went to the bar to wait for our table, it was a bit crowded. The bar tender left from behind the bar to take our drink order, and then walked back over to us from behind the bar to deliver our drinks! I started with the tini-porcini which was phenomenal. We got a roomy table in the back room, and the hostess gave me a birthday card! Our dinner consisted of the broiled oysters, Prosciutto di Parma (which if I HAD TO PICK, I think was my favorite), parpadelle pasta, I got the 8oz filet while the fiancé got the veal, and a side of broccolini. We finished off the meal with the basque cheesecake! Kevin, our server, was absolutely amazing. Every course was brought out with fresh silverware, napkins were folded when we got up and returned, and the table was scraped for crumbs often. Angeline’s is a new Buffalo favorite for this foodie couple!!"
"My boyfriend took me here for my 30th birthday on a Friday night. We had a reservation at 8:30. When we arrived, we were told it would be a few minutes because our table was just finishing up their meal. So we went to the bar and had a drink. One thing I immediately noticed was that there were no hooks under the bar for your purse. This was just a small thing I noticed right away, but it wasn’t a big deal overall. The atmosphere is great- very intimate with dim lighting. We enjoyed ourselves while we waited for our table. But, we waited a little over 30 minutes to finally be seated. Luckily we had nothing else going on that night so we didn’t mind waiting- but I could see this being frustrating for someone else who expected to be seated at the time of their reservation. The server was very apologetic about the wait and she was so friendly and informative about the menu- she truly was amazing. The food was incredible, my boyfriend and I were so impressed and enjoyed the dishes we got. We unfortunately were sat next to a group of 3 older men who might have had too much to drink because they were quite loud and using very aggressive/ foul language which was very distracting- considering the tables are extremely close together. All in all though, we would come back!!"
