"BBQ joint hidden in the city of buffalo. Walk into a classic country south themed establishment. The night we went they had live blue jazz music playing which was awesome. The food was great and my favorite personally were the ribs and BBQ wings. We ordered their winter special sampler and easily fed 2 people. I would come back again."

"Thanks to good ole Google, Fat Bob`s came up on top restaurants to try near us. We live in Canada but are close to the border and are so happy these small, amazing places show up for us. My husband and I took the 15 minute boot over the bridge to the restaurant around 430 pm. We didnt make a reservation, but the place quickly filled up after 5, so make a reso s my advice. The server was great at helping us navigate the menu as we wanted everything. Most of the items we ordered were off the specials menu. The texas twinkies were the perfect app size and great for the value. They had some heat! But like the perfect amount with the smokey cheese. My husband got Chicken and the pork. Though he thought it was pork ribs and it came pulled. With 2 sides for the value was amazing. Portion was not an issue at all. Theres a sauce card on the table that describes all 4 house made bbq sauces and what they pair well with. All the suggestions were spot on. Even on the mac and cheese.. which is OMG! lol. I had the Rachaels Special smoked turkey. Lots of moist meat, and flavor packed- the sandwhich was delish. We took home some food. That doesnt happen often. Oh, I had the apple cidar mimosa... amazing. Im going to try and replicate it for christmas with my family. We will definitely be back and signed up for the Fat Bob points. For being a male packed scene... the atmosphere was cozy and still intimate. It was nice cause we could be nosey and see what other people had ordered so we knew what to try next time....Like the chicken the wings. Great spot! Thank-you for being the perfect mid week surprise we didnt know we needed."

"This is the second time we've eaten here and now look forward to a meal here when we visit Buffalo. This trip my husband had the Ribs with a side of grilled veggies. He says they're the best ribs he's ever eaten. I had mac & cheese with brisket and bacon. Too much to eat in one sitting and had to bring some back home. (It was actually even better as a leftover!) We were too full because we'd both had a cup of excellent gumbo with rice. Tasty and filling!"

"Attended the downtown art festival today with my buddy and found this little gem after an uncomfortable waiting list issue at another eaterie. The staff were friendly and made us feel they were genuinely happy to see us there. After a very brief wait, we were seated in the outdoor patio area that was protected by tarps and a radiant heating system for cold days. Our server (Danielle S) was cheerful and pleasant, took our order (Catfish fingers appetizer, Memphis Mac bowl for my buddy and the Texas Mac bowl for me). We also ordered a couple of stouts, but it turned out they had just run out of the stout my buddy'd ordered. He asked for the same as mine and was given a tall glass (mine was shorter) to make up for the inconvenience. The fingers and bowls were served almost right away and were delicious! I was amazed at the extra sauces available at the table and Danielle was attentive and checked on us regularly. Our entire visit was the type of experience you'd want to have at a well run establishment. The staff were engaging, the atmosphere was casual, pleasant and comfortable, the food was delicious and the service was exceptional and prompt. If you're looking for some great smoked food and a great dining experience, I'd suggest you give this place a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed."
