"Louie's was a family-owned institution serving up foot long hot dogs since the '50's. It closed during the pandemic but reopened last year under new owners. Menu has largely remained the same with some new items. It's a good stop for dogs, burgers, sausage, chicken, and curly-que fries. And loganberry!"
"Pretty great hot dog stand! Local haunt, for sure. Loganberry iced tea is nice. "The works" toppings are legit -- esp. the whole grain mustard & hot sauce combo."
"I am going to be as nice as possible as the people that served us were very nice. I have been going to Louie's for years I mean many years over 50. The food is wonderful when Louie's daughters or son are working there. When they aren't as nice as the people are working there are they seem over their heads. I have to say I love the fries at Louie's but tonight I couldn't even eat them. My burger was so so and the Italian sausage had to be sent back as cooked improperly. I hope the staff can get their culinary skills up to match their niceness."
"*(agreeing with my husband whom left a review shortly before me)* He begged me to go after raving about it all night(he went Friday, it is Saturday). I agreed to go and it was my first time there… the moment I walked in I was welcomed by the staff/family of the business. It was such a great feeling to see people working with smiles on their faces. Debbie and her sister are just such beautiful souls that after I met them I felt like a better person. They touched my heart and their food that they make is to die for. The potato salad was so good that I couldn’t believe it, home made fries and onion rings, and an amazing pulled pork sandwich! I am completely in shock and loss for words! If you are thinking about going… this is your sign to go!"
