"First time here and the lady at the self checkout was a racist, made us feel unwelcome, kept yelling at us for no apparent reason and treated us like we’re stealing something. Please train your employees on diversity."
"Store primarily stocks low fat/ part skim mozzarella. I shop here wellll and most of the cheese is price chopper brand bit none of it is whole milk. U can find a small brick of whole milk mozz here but whoever does the orders apparently does not know the huge difference between the two. So when people go to price chopper for quality and get bottom of the barrel mozzarella cheese , it’s quite unfortunate."
"I like to buy everything here. Love most the things there. But this is the second time I am fooled by the cashiers.By the way, I like the most cashiers. Tonight I bought things with 2 bags of cherries. I found I don’t have enough cash to pay. So I wanna return some. I said I wanna return one bag of cherries or a bag of green beans. The cashier take a bag of cherries and the green beans. I thought: Ok. But I saw the money I need to pay just get 2 dollars off. So I asked something and showed the face that I can’t get it. She said she already returned one bag of cherries and green bean. I saw the screen shows 1.91Lb and then I take the little bag of cherries and feel:En…I guess it is not…But People are waiting to pay. So I paid, and go home. But when I got home. Yeah, this little bag is just 0.8Bl. I wanna call the market. …tried many times. No…no people answer I hate to review something bad about others with Just 4 dollars.Just feel bad about it."
"Always clean, Catfish dinner is great! Have the most variety of meat cuts and seafood you can get at a supermarket! Friendly staff and great customer service!"
"The Best Fish Market in Rome, New York. And the assortment of teas, coffee, and beer is phenomenal. The Market 32 Flower shop, has very reasonable prices and the florists give each customer attention with detail. The staff and cashiers, are friendly, courteous, and professional. Definitely attracts customers to keep returning. And that Market 32 meat section. I gaze at those giant beautiful steaks. Now for the bad, and being American, I have a right-to-complain. If you're purchasing food with SNAP or other taxpayer funded benefits or are on a fixed-income, you need to stay away from purchasing your majority of groceries at Market 32. Canned products are forty cents to a couple-dollars more than other grocery stores in the area. And ya can attribute the high prices of Market 32, to the fact of pensions, and the high cost of having their own truck-driving fleet, instead of outsourcing, which would be cheaper. Alcohol/beer products can be found elsewhere in Rome, New York, and save you a few dollars. Utica Club beer, for more than $10.00, being a local beer, and receives poor reviews throughout the internet. It should be the price of Keystone. Why should farm-raised imported Salmon, be only a dollar less than wild-caught Alaskan Salmon. Doesn't make sense, and it's all about profit & greed. Now when we shop at Market 32, we have to put-up with the annoyance of environmental ads every few minutes. Obviously Market 32, is kissing-butt of state and federal agencies to get those scraps of money for being a supposedly environmental conscious organization. Which again, costs the consumers plenty."
