"Everything was ok until the guy blew his nose right where he was preparing sushi rolls after that I couldn't eat so unsanitary didnt bother to even turn away and he didn't do it once but 3 times! The place is super small not for large groups or if you like getting up to get EVERY PLATE of food at the register that was a little weird"
"I ordered a poke bowl with salmon, spicy tuna, and ahi tuna. The ahi tuna is an off color- I hope I don’t get sick, since I think I ate some before I noticed. The spicy tuna is completely devoid of spice- it’s pink. I also ordered two kinds of sauce, and I didn’t get either. I won’t eat here ever again."
"Your typical Japanese restaurant with the occasional special rolls and varying cooked kitchen foods, it was hard to say this was anything different than what I’ve had from the past. With very little seating but quick service, you had to order in the front desk instead of having someone come to you which was a bit confusing at first. We asked for gluten free options for the rolls and I don’t think they remembered for the Summer roll. The flavors for both of these rolls didn’t really mix well especially the Summer roll with he strawberries. The best part about these rolls were the sauce hiding the flavor and textures of the sushi rolls. The pork ramen’s pork belly were cut so thin that it tasted very similarly to beef cut in a Chinese restaurant, dry and no fat. The veggies weren’t the most appealing either and I didn’t expect for there to be corn in this kind of dish. The umami was too salty most likely from the pork belly and unfortunately the veggies didn’t balance that out for me. Overall, it’s good for a quick bite if you didn’t care what you were having."
"Gluten and soy-free diner here! Last night my dearest Rebecca and I tried tried some fried rice. She ordered the chicken fried rice and I the pineapple fried rice, and to each we added some fresh avocado. Both dishes were exceptional! My pineapple fried rice, however, was served in a 1/2 pineapple, which had been carved out; diced and then mixed. A 6th star for originality and presentation. We will be back, sooner rather than later!! Thank you."
"My mother and I went here the week they opened the room for ramen/poke/sushi in late March 2019. The man waiting on us had an incredible passion for what they are doing! Unfortunately he was so excited, he forgot to put in my order so that mom was done way before mine arrived. The food is amazingly fresh and of superior quality. Be aware, Japanese love fatty pork, the chewier and fattier, the better. Mom had the pork ramen and liked it, except for the pork belly. I had the spicy ginger chicken signature bowl. It was good, but the spiciness really had an a cumulative effect so my mouth was burning by the time I was done. This restaurant space has a gorgeous design, too!"
