Reviews of The Red Pine Cone
"(update:the owner got in contact and fixed everything, now I would recommend!) The decor was very cute, but unfortunately the service was a nightmare, we were the only ones there, and our orders came out around an hour apart. Leaving one person without food the whole time we were there, and we had to get it to go. The waitress due to policy, couldn't do anything about it, so we paid in full and left."
"Came here for dinner early on a Friday evening. It's in a lovely area but was a bit too chilly to take advantage of the outdoor seating. Initially it waited was attentive but seen to get caught up in serving folks coming in to their ice cream counter and was distinctly less attentive. The buffalo cauliflower was delish. I got a chicken bacon ranch wrap. It was very heavy on the bacon and the fried chicken was cold. It was tasty, none the less. My husband ordered the NOCO Garbage plate which has a tasty assortment of their food offerings- Mac and cheese, pulled pork, tater tots, etc. Overall, not a bad place for a casual meal."
"We were so excited to try this beautiful new place. I ordered a 15.00 burger that came with cold bread. I asked the waitress to see if they could warm it up and she told me that is how it comes out. That the bread is fresh and it’s served cold. My husband asked for a calzón and asked if they could add also mushrooms. She told us that they can only do up to 3 toppings. We asked her to add them even if they would charge more. I defenitely won’t be going back. A shame bc we live close by and we could have become regulars."
"A nice family style restaurant, and clean over all. The service, as reported by others is very poor. I had a perfectly cooked $13 burger with grilled onions, served on a cheap white bread roll that one might be served off of a food truck. Of course, that cheap 18 cent bun absorbed all of the succulent juices and I had to eat that tasty mush in my wet hands. Not a real good dinner experience. My side order of Mac and Cheese was an even worse experience. I took two bites of the Mac and Cheese, approached the wait staff, because who knows how long it would have taken her to get back to our table, and I asked for some fresh Mac and Cheese. To my dismay and utter shock, she responded, Its fresh it was made early this morning. Mind you, I am being served at 6:00 pm almost 12 hours after being made. It was like eating a bowl of mush, and totally inedible."
"New restaurant in town!!!!! I went with my family on their first night opened. We were seated immediately, and opted to sit inside (but they do have outdoor seating!). Inside the place is beautiful, with a stunning mural and cute lighting. The menu has a wide range of options, including a kids menu. I opted for their maple pizza, husband had a burger and kid had chicken tenders. The pizza was really good, with a thin crispy crust. Husband couldn't stop talking about the fries! And my 3 year old loved the chicken! They do not serve alcohol. BUT, they do have ice cream!!!! "
