"Firstly I don't live in NY but the NY rest areas are the best I've ever been to. Anywhere. North America or Europe. Immaculately clean, informative about the region they are in, local products are sold in cafe's or vending machines at reasonable prices. If only all rest areas were like these! There's even a fake fire hydrant in the dog walking area for your pet to relieve himself against!"

"CLEAN! Most rest stops can’t say that! This is a great place to stay overnight with a camper-clean and quiet. Has a small dog run and play ground for kiddies. A fabulous picnic area-with scenic, short walking trials to stretch your legs. Modern bathroom facilities, small fantastic cafe and friendly knowledgeable staff. We will definitely stay overnight here again! Signage to the rest stop is small and you can miss it-just be patient, take your time and LOOK."

"Very impressive building filled with alot of information about tourism! The tourist directors were able to answer my questions about scuba diving in the area and were willing to assist with the scheduling of a trip. They were most helpful with giving me information about activities and lodging in the area! This place is definitely worth stopping at."
