"Delicious. My twin brothers talked highly of both the service and food at River House and I understand why. I had the shaved steak sandwich and French onion soup, which is exactly what I needed after I day on the River. The staff here are courteous and welcoming. "My wife and I had a fabulous meal! My wife had the stuffed sole with Brussels sprouts and a baked potato. She also ordered a side salad with Italian dressing and crumbly blue. I had the fried seafood platter. The batter was excellent; tasty and light, with onion rings and coleslaw. Megan, our waitress, and the only one we could see in a full dining room was a pro. Well done!"

"Went to dinner while on vacation with my husband and another couple. We were really looking forward to eating there as their online presence looked promising. We were seated pretty quickly the waitress was originally super sweet. My husband and myself had margaritas which tasted of all base and no liquor. My friend and I both ordered the ribeye which is a 32$ meal however when it arrived hers was wildly undercooked and mine was not only very thin but wildly overcooked I also had the Brussels sprouts and mashed and my friend order the mashed and coleslaw. My Brussels were black burnt and the mashed potatoes lacked any flavor and were lukewarm. We asked to have our steaks re-fired and were told it would be a “long wait” or we could eat it as is. We opted to have the steaks re cooked. Our husbands both had and ate their meals which were bland and massively overpriced. Our server then brought back the same sides on plates covered with blood and cold. After 25 min I asked to just pay for the sides so we could leave as our spouses had already finished eating. The waitress was extremely rude and said that “Wouldn’t happen as then they’d be out 60$”. They came back approximately 5 min later and threw our steaks at us and to go boxes clearly we’d worn out our welcome. Two minutes later the waitress whose attitude changed drastically threw the bill at us. We checked our steaks mine was supposed to be medium rare came out RAW and my friends who was supposed to have hers medium had hers RARE. WORST experience ever! Our bill which was over 100 dollars for two meals and three drinks wasn’t worth the time or effort of going there."

"The food, the drinks, the service, the banter back and forth with our waitress (Kathryn) the interaction with the owner. Everything about this restaurant is top-notch. It's a tiny little gem in the heart of Pulaski New York.... if you miss it you're missing out. We has the Pig Wings and Pot stickers for appetizers, Chicken Parm & Prime Rib... I only took pictures of the appetizers because we were enjoying the conversation with Kathryn..."

"Thoroughly enjoyed my dinner at RiverHouse! I had the filet tips with mashed potatoes and street corn. Everything was well cooked and delicious. Staff were also friendly. Would definitely come here again! Thank you for a great dinner."
