"My husband and I loved going to the Cresent for a late Saturday lunch while at our cottage. I will not go back and have nothing good to say if ppl ask me about eating there. The last time I was at the Cresent was for a group gathering the meals were good, but the service was rude and slammed meals down in front of a couple in the group. We all saw it and were disgusted. The couple had asked about their meals after waiting over an hour and most of us had our meals and were done. That made the waitress angry. By the way this couple are very sweet ppl generally. The couple were so upset they left without eating their meals. I confronted the waitress in front of the owner for basically throwing the meals down. The waitress replied they were under staffed and the owner/manager walked away verses asking what happened. The Cresent was not overly busy that night there were 20ish ppl at the bar , our group and a couple of tables had ppl. I figured about 75 ppl at the time. Our party was planned ahead of time including meals."
"What a great little bar! We went for karaoke night last year and had a blast with the family! Fun atmosphere and comfortable location. Will try to go again soon! I sang rebel yell, under pressure, & knockin' on heavens door. I won some contest thing someone told me that night, but we left early lol."
"Waitress made mistakes on ordering and serving order to three guests. Chicken Tenders over done with thick breading. served sour cream for mayonnaise and didn't serve blue cheese with an order. Didn't ask how haddock was to be served. I wanted broiled they served fried which I am not suppose to have."
"Unfortunately I have tried many times over many years to like Crescent, but I have been disappointed every time with the lackluster food. It's almost as if the cook hates their job. I don't understand to be honest. The servers, when there is more than one, are pleasant, but the food is bad."
"Kind of a dive bar, touch loud inside, but great service and amazing food. Worth a stop."
