"This just depends if you get one of the main guides or a “back up”. It was clear they must have over booked and we ended up with a sub, not a captain on the water regularly. We had no live bait, no ice, never changed off the spoons, didn’t change colors or depths or locations. We were just going through the motions. My kids were bummed and aware themselves that this was a waste of time and money but we leveraged the opportunity to show the importance of fishing with folks who love to fish like we do versus those that are just taking people on boat rides for the money. Captain Boomer would ask us what type of fish we wanted to catch and take us directly to an area where we would catch them. His knowledge of the area and the fish behavior was amazing. "A huge thank you to Captain David Cutler from Low Country Fishing Charters. I took a charter with Captain Cutler for Red Drum on my birthday on October 11th and it was nothing but spectacular. The service was incredible, it was safe, and I had a blast. Within the first minutes of putting a line in the water we had two fish on and to the boat within a couple of minutes. Captain Cutler was nothing but professional for the entire trip running 4 lines by himself catching bait and putting us on the fish.
