"Gene Davis seems like a nice guy. The limited interactions I had with him were pleasant. But that’s the problem – the interactions were limited. What I mean by limited is that he didn’t respond to any of my emails, calls, or texts regarding the legal matter he agreed to take on. The first correspondence about possibly taking on my case was met with agreement and enthusiasm. Tight deadline? No problem. Is everyone aligned on the end goal and the date of the end goal? Absolutely. But during the month-long period of “working” with him, nothing was done. Court papers were never filed, my requests for additional documentation were left unanswered, and there were no updates on the next steps. The one update I got was that he’s been busy with other cases. That non-update took 3+ weeks to get. How about getting replies from the paralegals? Nope, they don’t respond either. After a frustrating month, I terminated the relationship with Gene and his law firm. If you need estate legal work done, do yourself a favor and do not contact Gene Davis Law. Find another firm, any firm that will be responsive. Your blood pressure will thank you."
