This is our first pool as homeowners and we are excited to begin using it once the weather warms up! River Pools did a fantastic job getting the pool installed and being patient with our lack of knowledge on the whole process. Although, the entire process was not without it's bumps in the road, together, we were able to overcome some miscommunications and get the project back on track. We are very happy with the end result and will be excited to begin swimming soon!"

"My experience with River Pools of Charlotte is very negative. They completely change their tune after you pay a deposit. Today, almost 6 months after we signed the contract, the project is not finished and they refuse to refund me, so I have to file a complaint with the NC Licensing Board. - Right after we signed the contract and I paid the deposit, they charged me $1500 for extra gravel. They admitted they never used it but refused to refund. - They use LOTS of subcontractors, are horribly organized which causes miscommunication and nothing is done properly from the 1st attempt resulting in significant delays to the project and the craftsmanship is below any reasonable expectation. They installed a pool shell, poured water and then disappeared for 4 weeks because they could not organize subcontractors, the pool turned completely green with algae. - They are possibly using false advertising with $2500 FREE furniture on the contract. But deliver the actual cost of $1699 - After a series of broken promises, they left the project with a leaking waterfall in the back and a coping missing grout in several areas."

"I did a bunch of research into different types of pools and contractors in the Charlotte area. As a Florida native, I grew up with concrete pools - I was initially weary of fiberglass. However after seeing the finished product and quality of work, I’m really happy with how my plunge pool turned out with River Pools. Like all construction, there is a necessary back and forth between you and the GC that needs clear and constant communication. Frank, Addison, Carla and the team were great about communicating expectations and status. Would definitely recommend this company!"
