"Susan and Jim are great. They do our evictions on behalf of the Landlord. Two thumbs up."
"I talked to Susan to get an eviction filing started. She replied to my first two emails. Then she went dark. I tried calling, leaving voicemails, and emailing several times and no response. I see why they are cheaper than others. DO NOT work with this firm unless you want poor communication and the likelihood of your case not being resolved."
"I have had the pleasure of dealing with Mr. Surane and his workers everyone was very very understanding Mr. Surane takes the time to listen and he Literally get involved in your case as if it was his own. I could not have had the pleasure of meeting such a wonderful courteous and honest attorney I believe that he will be around a long time because it’s hard to find someone who chooses to use his heart and education instead of being greedy and using his pockets for his own good he looks out for his clients and I am glad to be an advocate to say these things thank you so much Mr. Surane and his workers for all that you’ve done for me Mrs. Angela Mobley"
"Close to horrible. I don't recommend them. I've used them for 4 evictions in the past. The only reason I used them is that they have low fees but I understand why now. I hired them for convenience but they take significantly longer than if I were to handle it myself. They take their time to file to summary ejectment add about a week to the process for that. They don't communicate the results of the hearing unless you track them down. It takes multiple emails and multiple phone calls and even then you can't easily get the info you need to continue the process. In my most recent case we got a judgement for possession on May 19th. The writ for possession can be filed on the business day on the 11th day after the the judgement. I hired the attorney to prepare the writ and ask for confirmation when it was filed. After several emails and phone calls to follow up, it still was not filed as of June 17th. I filed the writ for possession myself but it was difficult because when I called up to get the necessary information (that would have been on the summary for ejectment paperwork I requested but that was not provided to me) I was given incorrect information. I can't believe I actually paid for service that resulted in a delay to my eviction. One word comes to mind...incompetence."
"I sold a commercial property and Surane Law Firm handled the buyer and seller sides of the transaction. I buy and sell 4 to 7 properties a year and this is by far the worst service I've ever encountered. The seller sent the contact to the attorney and I never heard anything from them (usually a closing attorney will introduce themselves, ask important information up front, etc). After a few weeks, I finally made contact, at which point they took my information. We were a day away from closing and I never heard anything from anyone. The buyer and our real estate broker both were also in the dark about if we were going to close on the closing date or not. The attorney had not made contact with anyone and would not reply to emails or phone calls. We finally got them to respond and we were sent a HUD. This HUD looked like a 4 year old put it together. They didn't bother to prorate property tax, prorate rental income, nothing. We finally got the HUD corrected and they dated it for the next day, even though when filling out their form I stated that I'd be closing from out of town and would need paperwork emailed to me and I'd have to overnight the documents. After another HUD correction, they sent me the paperwork. I filled it out and sent the documents back overnight. After several days and no communication, I reached out to the seller to see if he heard anything. He was told everything had closed. I reached out to the attorney to see if my funds had been wired and they said they never received my paperwork. Come to find out, they had given me the wrong address to their offices. I informed the seller that we have not closed, to which he was outraged. I contacted UPS and they said the attorney could pick up the documents at their local office. After a few days and no communication from Surane Law Office, I interjected and spent over an hour on the phone with UPS to get them to deliver the documents instead of having them picked up. Once it finally closed, I had to reach out to inquire about my funds. No one had made any effort to wire them to me. I finally got my funds, only to find that they have shorted me by $255.50. I reached out to find out why the wire amount was incorrect by email and voicemail, of course with no response. It's been 4 business days now and still no response."
