"Stayed here multiple times. This time I am away from camp site 30 mins and return with a FEMALE park ranger at my site and told me I couldn’t leave a fire unattended even tho when you look in the barrel where water was thrown on ash is all that was in there. No warning! No one said anything from the start $50 fine I was given for fire left WOW! What a surprise. She stated I should have know this rule and there’s nothing she can do about it! never to return! We need better rangers in our parks to where campers can enjoy there stay and not be ticketed for everything? Be aware!"
"Very pretty Park nice facilities and way off the beaten path"
"My adult daughter and I were tent camping for the night, and found it to be a wonderful experience. Imagine being just 30 ft away from a river with Rapids, and the wonderful all night white noise that generates. Slept fantastic, and could even see the river from our campsite, and walk down to the river to eat our dinner and breakfast. Some short but lovely trails nearby if you like to hike, very close to the campsites."
"Had a wonderful time camping this Father’s Day/Juneteenth weekend! Park rangers were super friendly. Campsite managers were great as well. Beautiful trails to walk, we’ll maintained and historic value added. Highly recommend!"
"Nice quiet campground along the banks of the Nolichucky River, plenty of full hookup sites, nice bath house facilities, and nice camp hosts. Had a nice quiet visit. Enjoyed seeing the Canadian Geese and their little ones. The facilities were outstanding and well maintained. The camp host was warm and friendly, attentive to our needs."
