"This is a hidden pool in the Eno river that takes a bit of a hike to get to, but we’ll worth it. Hikers brought in floats and coolers for summer fun."

"For over a year, I've been looking for a place where I can swim with my dog, and I've finally found one! Turtle Hole is a great place to walk your dog off lead and there's a large pond where you can swim together. It can get pretty busy on hot afternoons, and requires about a 10 minute hike (downhill there, uphill back) to get to the water. Can't recommend highly enough!"

"Beautiful spot on the Eno River. Fairly easy hike, about 10 minutes from the south side parking area. Parking is very very limited. Great swimming area where the river widens into a large and deep pool. Lots of little pools of water where kiddos can safely enjoy. Watch out for snakes on the trail and even in the water."
