"We had a wonderful ride with Rusty Spur! Their horses are very well cared for, healthy looking and great on the trail. We did the 1 hour ride and it was a beautiful trail through the woods in the Dupont forest. We are experienced riders and have high expectations and they did not disappoint! Our guide Rhi was very knowledgeable and safety minded. We will absolutely be back and we will recommend to our airbnb guests."

"The healthy happy horses caught my eye when we watched Rhi unloading at the trail head. We were mountain biking at the time, but I snapped a picture of the trailer so I could book a ride. For me finding a caring trail ride company is key to be able to fully enjoy the experience. We did the 2.5 hour scenic waterfall ride which was just beautiful. It's an up and down ride, (not one for fast canters) with spectacular vistas. Highly recommend!"

"Excellent experience! Horses were well trained and seemed to be well cared for. Rhi, our guide, has an extensive knowledge of the history and biota of the area. The 2 and 1/2 hour tour is well worth the price as you get to see two incredible waterfalls, a covered bridge, and a variety of terrain. As someone with only a little riding experience, the horse were easy to steer and Rhi offered detailed instruction on how to ride. Would recommend rusty spur to anyone in the area (tourist or locals) looking to have a great time in a beautiful location!"

I am a seasoned rider and my husband had not ridden since childhood, but the ride accommodated both of our needs perfectly. It was challenging enough to be enjoyable for me and beginner-friendly enough where he felt comfortable. Tim was very friendly, knowledgeable about the area, and fun to be around.
