Cabin

"My husband and I are seniors. This cabin has a steep narrow staircase that is polished hardwood. There is a handrail to grip but without carpeting it is very slick to navigate. The one bag of trash rule with $15 per additional bag fee was a first for us. We stayed four nights. It took two days for the cabin to dry out and feel less damp and humid with proper use of the heating/air conditioning system. There were pop up air fresheners to cover the musty smell but they were not effective. The track lighting in great room is directed at the ceiling leaving the floor area dimly lit with two low wattage table lamps. Without blinds or window treatments on main level a "fish bowl" feeling is created at night. I swept the leaves off porch and deck area along with spider webs but felt housekeeping should have taken the time to do this. I didn't want to track leaves into the hot tub which is like new and lovely. The mattresses are excellent as well. My favorite feature is the gas fireplace insert which I admire so much I plan to purchase one for my own home."

"Cabin was super cute and well maintained. My family and I had a great time. View was awesome and we could sit on the front porch and watch the polar express go by in the evening. Very cool."
