The Village At Twin Falls

"Beautiful cabins, inside and out. As soon as you walk in you immediately relax. Sit in a rocking chair and listen to the creek or the pond water falls. Cabin was clean and kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Beautiful area. We didnt want to leave. Will definitely rent again."

"We stayed in cabin 44, the stay and cabin were amazing. We did our homework and read all the reviews postive, and negative. Lets start with the items provided for your use, the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, cups, plates, sliverware. Their is also toaster, blender, and coffee maker. Linens provided worked great for our 3 night stay, (we brought our towels, they did provide 3 in our bedroom and in the upstairs bedroom) we didnt use the fireplace as it wasnt needed. You are expected to clean out the fireplace if you use them. There was not an issue with hot water. We did have a crack in our coffee pot but a quick call into the office and that was replaced quickly. It was quiet and relaxing, yes across the creek you have a rv park. It was not a issue it was quiet and you still have a great view of the mountain behind that. You will need to take your own toiletries etc.. there was broom/mop and common items that would be needed to clean. We will definitely be back. The only thing i will say is the trash policy does get alittle contradictory, you are allowed to leave 2 bags of trash in the cabin on check out day. There is instuctions in your packet as to where county trash sites are. We had 3 adults and stayed 4 days 3 nights and did not use more then 2 bags. Which you will want to take trash bags as well. Also the grills are in what they described as "common areas" which from what we saw as we had friends in the cabin beside us. They are in between every two cabins, All in all you are in the heart of maggie valley, the mangement was awesome and responsive. The neighborhood is quiet and very well mantained. You will not be disappointed we were very impressed, we will be back in sept for thunder in the smokies again."

"First of all there is no not water...it's like checking into a military camp...3 minutes into your shower cold water starts hitting you.. when asked the maintenance people said they have turned up the heat of the boiler...so that gave one person exactly 2 more extra minutes in the shower. You cannot wash your hair and you have to really come out of the shower within 3 mins . Also with that the view from the cabin is straight to the RV parking so there is actually no view. I do not have an option to post a reference picture here. We left one day early took the loss and the owners of th cabin never called us back. If you and your family is not someone that believes in a good clean shower at the beginning or end of the day then you can stay here if not please do not go. I am giving this place 2 starts because the cabin is good."
