"Played the Bryd course. In good condition and pace of play was brisk. Greens were great. Course was a little wet from rain a couple days earlier."
"What I learned. A good thing. I will never pay my money before finding out who I am getting pair with again! Anywhere. And another thing. I intend to never give Sea Trails any of my business again. These are old beach courses and this place should extend better hospitality to balance the place out."
"Played the Byrd curse 3 days ago. This course needs some attention. It is obvious that this course is being neglected. Taking the cart path is an adventure. You would get a smoother ride driving down a dried up rocky river bed. To avoid the cart path you drive over exposed tree roots. The fairways were okay but rough around the edges. The entire property looks tired and worn. For $68 to play a round one should expect a better golfing experience."
"Started off with the starter obviously overwhelmed. Wouldn’t give us a cart and didn’t tell us where the putting green was. We were 45 minutes early. Another starter told us they were redoing the whole course at soon, so they are not investing in them now. The course was in poor shape at best. Probably 15 people working on the course and multiple holes where they parked their cart’s literally a few feet off the green and clearly in the way. Wouldn’t stop blowers or even talking just feet away from us while we were trying to hit or putt. Went to pro shop at the turn for a sandwich and the sign clearly said open at 10am and it was 10:15 and the lights weren’t even on. The man and woman in the pro shop were nice but this course isn’t worth the price they charged. I’m not sure I would play for even half. Here on vacation and this was our second round this week and just disappointed in our choice with this course. We played Byrd course."
"We played the Byrd course at Sea Trail on a very hot day about three weeks ago. The course has a good layout and is interesting to play. The condition, however, left a bit to be desired. Fairways were ok, but the greens only get a C-. Worst of all was the lack of water to drink. No beverage cart. No course assistant bringing water around and worst of all none of the water fountains were working. This was a great example of how poor management can ruin a round of golf. Beware! Investigate before you book!"
