"We found this gem on our last trip. We’ve always done the Gatlinburg lifts and while those are amazing, Harper Bros life is perfect! Not wildly packed (which I’m sure as they become more known will). They have horse back riding. We are coming back this fall and internally booked at wears valley so we can be near this place."

"AMAZING!!! I was skeptical of Harper Bros because of the lack of reviews, however we decided to go here after finding that all (few) of those reviews were highly rated verses the other horseback riding ranches having thousands of reviews with MANY poor reviews. So we took our chances and we did not regret!! I can’t speak highly enough of this entire operation! From the moment we stepped foot on the ranch, every single staff member we encountered were genuinely friendly and hospitable to us. We went for horseback riding but was pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable their 30 minute (total time) skylight was where we were greeted by more friendly staff, complimentary waterbottles, staff offering to take our photos and a wonderful musician. The view of the valley was a bonus. We made our way down and the staff at the top of the skylift communicated with the staff at the bottom to let them know we were on our way down for our ride. Joseph (guide) was amazing from the get go. He was super knowledgeable and entertained us the entire duration of all things horses and about the trail. We loved going on a “private” tour. Not sure if they’re always private if they are much busier , but we loved the special time with just our family and not a huge group. Joseph was super smart and helpful. The horses were well maintained, healthy and we learned they rotate the 30 some horses and give them 2-3 days off each week. These horses were so well trained that there wasn’t much we needed to do. The trail was perfectly beautiful. We cannot recommend this place enough and we will only visit here on any future trips."

"This was by far the best horseback ride we have ever been on! The guide (the manager of the ranch) did an amazing job of staying engaged in conversation the whole time! He had a fun trivia about the horses and the surrounding nature. We loved that we all got nicknames (our horses names). The scenery was absolutely beautiful! We loved that the trail was not just a flat straight path…it was one that had you going up on a small mountain side! 100% hands down the best place to go!"

"This was a great way to spend the afternoon. From the riding trails to the lift, relaxing in a rocking chair and enjoying the beautiful views to playing checkers or Cornhole, to finding cool stuff at the shop while getting a snack and a coffee at the shop."

"One of our new favorite places when we visit TN! Visited for the first time in August and just went back this past Labor Day. Staff is amazing and personal. Prices are so reasonable compared to a lot of others. They take such good care of the horses and it's so clean. Our kids have done the trail ride twice already and are ready to go back again. The staff makes sure the riders are comfortable and safely mounted before heading out. Our kids even got to pick their favorite horses to ride: Blue & Bruno! We haven't ridden the lift yet because our youngest is afraid, but we will def get to it! Definitely time to add Harper Bros. Mountain to your itinerary. It will be on our list every time we visit TN!"
