"We had no idea that you had to pay for parking almost everywhere in Gatlinburg. Parking at the welcome center was the best. You park for free and take the trolley to town. Deb from the trolley was the absolute best. If you take the trolley I hope Deb is your driver. They have public bathrooms at the welcome center and trolleys that run til 5:30 pm. The drive is scenic and trolleys warm and plenty of seats. Ten out of ten recommend especially if you are going moonshine tasting. Thank you Deb for being awesome."
"We caught a free trolley from here into the town of Gatlinburg. The trolley was very full and we had to stand. The traffic was bad and it took a long time to get there. Return trip was great."
"Trolley! consider well before using them during high traffic day. Other than that the trolley drivers are fantastic. Parking was plenty. On Saturday 10/28/23 we waited for more than 1.5 hours since 3pm for the purple trolley to fr here to downtown Gatlinburg. On the way back to visitor center at around 6pm they provided more trolleys hence the wait was much shorter. On all 3 trips the driver were super friendly. One lady driver went beyond expectation engaging us all in the song “ the wheel on the bus” . She made the highlight of our visit to Gatlinburg. Thank you and we will never forget your kindness."
"The visitor center is clean and well maintained. Lots of souvenirs and gift stuff, have the parking tag also. This visitor center have the passport book, tokens collection album with smokies tokens for new beginners."
