"Something popped out of my cabinet door, and I realized the cabinet would no longer stay closed. With closer examination, I realized nylon the tab that inserts into the closing guide was now broken off both hinges. This particular cabinet gets daily use, multiple times a day. I called the company after finding no comparable looking hinges on their website. Spoke to Karen who was very helpful, to enquire about purchasing replacement hinges. I e-mailed her some photos. I got an email back on the same day asking for my address and how many hinges are not functioning. I checked my entire kitchen and found two more. Less than a week later, I received a package with replacement parts for my hinges, gratis. I was expecting to pay for replacements, since the cabinets were installed more than five years ago. Nothing like good old fashioned customer service. Not sure if my hinges came with the cabinet manufacturer (Decora) or a choice of the installer (Apex Cabinets).
