"Alex Marshall Review I’ll try to be as quick as possible expressing my gratitude and appreciation for all that my attorney, Mr.Alex Marshall here at Dement law firm, did when assisting me through my traumatizing experience. To begin, I was actually referred to Dement by my sister who, years ago, had issues with the law and was represented by this firm. She said plainly “If u want to be represented by a firm that actually cares about you as an individual, supports your truth, and will be completely transparent throughout the process, Dement is where you need to go”, so I did. From the jump I could tell that what my sister said was true. I was, I guess, assigned to Mr. Alex Marshall for consultation. This man spent over an hour, “off the clock” so to speak to explain the process if hired as my attorney as well as answered any and all questions I had. He had/has a welcoming presence and I felt comfortable speaking about everything that transpired that unfortunate night from start to finish. He took the time to listen first, ask questions later and also broke ALL of the possible scenarios down to a tee. So basically, by the end of my “consultation” with Alex, a HUGE burden was lifted, I understood the entire process I was getting into with him, and I was also aware of how this could end(about 3 different ways) from best to worse case scenario. All of that in first conversation was very impressive to me! Of course the next step was discussing the cost of all this exceptional support because it doesn’t come cheap is what I thought. I expressed my financial situation and to my surprise Alex was able to work with me by putting me on a payment plan that worked FOR ME! The great part about that is there is no generic anything with them. As it is, no customers situation is the same so they make sure to accommodate according to each specific person individually which was also quite a pleasant surprise to me. I have experienced firms in the past that, if they do offer pay plans, it’s strictly a “one size fits all” kind of deal, but not here! They will/do work with you based on YOUR situation! After all that was done, next is coming up with a plan that we both agree to and are comfortable with so that he could execute accordingly. Of course in my situation and the type of charges I had, he expressed that this may take some time, which it did, almost 3 years to be exact. But each court date, if continued, I had full access to him day or night, weekday or weekend, literally 24/7, if I couldn’t attend, and just letting him know ahead of time, he would extend if possible. There was one time that the clerk of court provided me with an incorrect date and, as u could imagine, I panicked because didn’t want to get an FTA or anything like that. I called Alex and he immediately texted me back with a solution which did not include me having to take time off of work, he handled it and updated me once done that I was good to go, NO FTA thank goodness, and provided me with another court date. That is one of many examples of Alex as an on point representative. I knew I was not his only case but still knew that he would always be available for me, as his client, still. Fast forward to the big day!! I was nervous as could be! Now because he is observant and fully aware that presentation carries weight, the day of trial, he looked at me and demanded I step away to gather my bearings. He said to me “Don’t worry Camile, I’ve got this, I’ve got you”. I knew that, whatever the verdict, he would do his best to represent me this day and I was confident that he would do it to the best of his abilities. It also helped when I saw all of the notes he had with him scribbled on a notepad from day 1, the consultation, along with I guess law books highlighted throughout, to help plead his case.
