"What a joke law firm. Advertises as a firm that helps the man. Instead of help I get an over weight female attorney that is on my ex's side. Had no advice to help me in my situation at all. Was 20min late to our 1 hour meeting, was very rude and condescending. Still charged me $180 for 40min. Didn't even get a full hour. Stay away from this place if you don't want to lose everything and be homeless under a bridge."

"We had an experience with Cordell & Cordell in a Virginia Court and it was very positive. The gentleman couldn't have been better. Assuming that C&C was the same here we went with them for a custody case. Big mistake. The lawyer constatly disagreed with us and asked for evidence previously submitted, causing more phone time and extra emails. She colluded with the opposing counsel to use up our retainer knowing that she was leaving the firm before we could go to court. She left, took our money and the firm removed themselves from the case. Stay far away from this firm."

"I was referred to Cordell & Cordell by a colleague. I called into the office to speak with an attorney regarding my case. I was directed to an attorney's voice-mail. I left a message and then received a call back from a paralegal named "Jennifer." She told me I could discuss my case with her. I didn't feel comfortable with that. I told her I would not be discussing my case with her and that I would like to schedule a time to speak to the attorney instead. She claimed that cases generally go through her before reaching the firms attorney's desk. I admit I got frustrated with her about not allowing me to schedule a time to speak with an actual attorney. After about 3 minutes of back and forth arguing, she hung up on me. If this is standard protocol on how to treat potential clients, I am glad I won't be using this firm!"
