Sand Pebbles Condos

"Unfortunately, we did not enjoy our stay at 1101 Lake Park Blvd S Unit 1B Carolina Beach, NC 28428. The place was nasty. Dead roaches under one of the beds, moldy looking substance in the inside of the window and one of the coffee mugs looked like someone spit tobacco dip into it and put it back in the cabinet. Just overall not clean. Sinks had to be worked on while we were there and several electrical outlets including the microwave were all not working when we woke up Saturday morning. I don’t normally leave reviews good or bad but this place was nasty. We won’t be staying in any place managed by Bryant in the future. The girls that answered our calls tried to help and they were nice. But I don’t think they could really address these issues in the middle of a weekend stay."

"My business cleans condos in this complex. We love the 2 pools and the beach access. Nice location right across from uncle vinnys pizza and st coves. Central location with a few places within walking distance. (EDIT - would give 1 star for parking/towing. You WILL get towed if you do not have a pass. My homeowner told me didn't need a pass for the past 2 years and then I was towed for $250 while cleaning)"

"The condo itself is a five star and this is our 2nd year renting the same unit and our 5th year staying at Sand Pebbles. The condo is Very clean and very well maintained. Highly recommend the condo. However we will not return because we made an honest mistake of forgetting to put the parking pass on the dash. Our car was towed to Wilmington and it cost us $250 to get it out. We walked the complex and found other cars without passes but interestingly enough those cars were not towed. I contacted the property manager who responded by sending me pictures of my car without a pass in the window. We already admitted we made a mistake. No compassion and no explanation as to why our car was towed vs others in the complex. It definitely put a damper on our vacation and the lack of compassion from property management will lead us to rent elsewhere next year."

"The room was just fine, absolutely nothing wrong there. One pool was closed half the week. 3 stars is because there is no elevator and that made it really rough to bring up food and luggage"

"Floor was dirty, beds were uncomfortable,bed squeaked everytime you moved in it. Car got towed while sitting in our designated parking spot, cost $250.00 to get my car back. Car was taken in the middle of the night by the towing company. No one from the towing had courtesy enough to knock on door to see if the car belong to us. No one else was staying in our condo building which had 4 apartments in it. No other car was parked under the condo but ours. Had to get a cab, which cost another $20.00 to retrieve my car which was about 20miles away. This was not a pleasant vacation and I will not be going back there again."
