"The room was fine as was the service, however the pool was either over chlorinated or the ventilation system did not work. The pool was borderline unusable. We couldn't breathe very well and couldn't keep our eyes open. It was disappointing as the indoor pool is really the only reason to stay here. My children were able to stand 30 min of swimming before they had to get out."

"As a Google reviewer, I uphold the standard of giving a truthful and honest review for everyone to see. This Hampton Inn & Suites was just okay on this visit. Our stay was less than satisfying for us. This location was selected by a group for a large Conference we were attending. To start off, we didnt realize that they only clean the rooms every other day. We stayed there a total of 4 nights. We needed towels every night for bathing so I asked the front desk for them. I also requested that they clean the room as well. I saw the young lady write it down on the books for housekeeping. The next day housekeeping was down the hall in the evening cleaning other rooms when we received a call for a meeting to attend. We had to ask housekeeping for towels which they provided for us to clean up. After coming in for the night, we assumed our room would be cleaned and trash picked up. Our room was not touched at all!! In fact our trash was never picked up nor our room cleaned whatsoever our entire stay. There is also an issue with the shower temperature control handle. It moves on its own. On our first night my wife was showering and it burned her torso. Her stomach was still red even after we left the hotel four days later. This was all unacceptable to us!!! Your front desk associates are the best!! Mark called me while I was waiting to board my flight into North Carolina. He wanted to check with me if I need anything when we came in for our stay. I was highly impressed with Mark!!! Ashlyn is a super nice young lady with a smile on her face. She treated us with the utmost respect and professionalism. She was very informative when we asked a question. She definitely is the epitome of what a front desk associate should be like. The gentleman working with Mark (older black man) was a great guy as well. Very bubbly and funny. The night shift associate (young thin black man) was super polite when we asked for towels, toilet paper and Kleenex. He was very concerned with the issue we were having in the room."

"We planned on staying here for a volleyball tournament one weekend. However, after check in our first night my daughter got sick. Talked to the night shift representative,Ira who was super helpful with anything we needed. The next morning I talked to multiple people at the front desk, one named Mark, about cancelling our second night and getting a refund, they were all polite and helpful. While we were there I noticed the cleanliness of the place. They have a water slide for the kids and free breakfast on the morning. Sorry no pictures but I would definitely stay here again!"

"I visited here for work and a friend of mines stopped by to see me. Shortly after my friend realized his battery/ car wouldn’t start. I asked the front desk clerk by the name Ashton if she has any jumper cables. She didn’t hesitate and said I believe I do and offered them. We were able to get his car running. Ashton, kindness just put the icing on top of great service I’ve experienced here. She was very friendly on my day of check in as well. The entire staff has been very polite here. I would definitely visit again. The rooms were very clean as well."
