"!!!! Do not bother !! Absolutely zero parking if you aren’t home by 5, expect to park far away from your home. Seems like everyone has 2-5 cars that take up the spaces. My apartment stinks of weed as well. These aren’t cheap apartments to be having cheap problems. Look elsewhere. Lots of Karens here too. Oh & if you want to bring your washer and dryer you can’t, you have to use the stinky used up ones they provide for you."

"Alexis, Alison, and Amanda are a fantastic team of ladies who are doing the best they can day in and day out to make Hawthorne at Leland a nice play to live. The trash, the maintenance, is it perfect? No. Is it frustrating at times? Yes. I have the same frustrations. BUT… **BUT**…know that these ladies are giving 100%, and anything that is less than perfect is being worked on as best it can be with the resources available."

"I have lived here since 2021 and it has been great up until the past year when they got new management. Now, the pool is always dirty. Trash piled up by dumpsters and nothing gets done. No grounds people to pick up trash. The office is always empty and no one ever answers your phone call or calls you back. The whole complex has a gnat problem and nothing seems to be getting done about it. These are luxury apartments and nothing luxurious about it when it looks like you live near the dump. Horrible response time to anyone that lives there"

"Update 9/2/22: Yet another day when Valet Trash (that we are forced to pay for with rent) was not picked up. Now we will have to wait two days with everyone’s trash sitting outside causing bugs since the next pick up scheduled is two days from now. In the past, Management has not offered to send one of their staff to empty the trash when it happens NOR have they offered any sort of credit for the service we are not receiving consistently yet are paying for. Again, they advertise “luxury”?! Update 8/29/22: Per the response from management, they are “working on resolution…and expect improvement in the days ahead”. As you can see from the photos taken today and added, this place looks disgusting. They advertise “luxury” apartments…what a joke! Update 8/14/22: Yet another day that our Valet Trash was not picked up. This makes 6 times in the last few weeks! But we again are forced to pay $15 every month for this service that we are not getting consistently (they consistently take our payment however!). Also, management’s idea of “cleaning” after my original post was having a maintenance person come over and blow the dirt around using a leaf blower. Now the dirt is just in other places. “Luxury” at its finest! Original Post: This place is an absolute joke! This is the fifth time in three or four weeks that our Valet Trash has not been picked up, a service that we are forced to pay every month with no other option. It is causing bugs. The management also does not properly address noise issues in a timely manner and the apartments outside, stairwells, etc are filthy. Don’t trust any good reviews!"

"We are rarely bothered by management, after living in an apartment complex that for some reason needed to come into the apartment at least once a month this is so refreshing On the other hand if you ever have an issue they are quick to help and solve it! I really love living here I love the privacy the minimal noise the amenities and just about everything about it The only negative thing would be that you don’t have your own parking spot so if you get to the apartment too late you might not be parked very close to your apartment."
