"Roaches and mold on air registers. I would have been better off in a motel. At 3 grand I would hope to have a decent place for a week. Instead we unfortunately have a place that we spent hard earned money on and we are welcomed with mold and roaches. Do yourself a favor and not come here, if I knew how I would upload pic's of roaches and mold"
"Title: A Nightmare at the Beach Condo: A Disastrous Experience Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ I recently had the misfortune of staying at the Beach Condo, and I must say it was the most dreadful experience I have ever had. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, it felt like an unending nightmare. I feel compelled to share my honest and harsh review to save others from the torment we endured. The top of the website states, “Well Maintained, Comfortable & Appealing” which was the complete opposite of this condo. Filthy and Neglected: The condo was in an appalling state of disrepair. No repairs have been made in probably 20 years. The cleanliness was non-existent, with layers of dust, grime, and suspicious stains covering every surface. There are random paint swipes on the walls, dirt and stains on the walls, and the baseboards are disgusting. The floors were sticky, the bathrooms and air vents are infested with mold, and the smell was nauseating. The furniture is in dire need of updating, extremely dirty and old. It was clear that no effort had been made to prepare the place for guests. Broken Amenities: The advertised amenities were either broken or in a state of complete disrepair. The air conditioning was SO LOUD, leaving us without sleep. The refrigerator was small and the ice maker did not work. The “high-speed internet” was virtually non-existent, making it impossible to stay connected or get any work done. About 80 percent of the outlets were broken or didn’t work at all. The bedrooms did not have a primary light source, and instead they just put a lamp in each room. The fans in the bathrooms were unbelievably loud and annoying. The one balcony was so rundown that we could not stand on it out of fear of falling. Unprofessional Staff: The staff members were unresponsive and unhelpful throughout our stay. We encountered numerous issues, but when we tried to address them, we were met with indifference and excuses. It was clear that guest satisfaction was the last thing on their minds. False Advertising: The photos and descriptions of the condo were a gross misrepresentation of reality. The pictures must have been taken years ago when the place was still in decent condition. The stark contrast between the advertised images and the actual state of the condo was infuriating. Misc. Inconveniences: Only one luggage cart available for the whole section of our building. Check in is at 3:00pm to 7:00pm (for June-Aug) which is way later than anywhere else I have ever been, AND THE ROOM WASN’T READY BY 7! Our room wasn’t actually ready until 8:40pm…we wasted an entire day and then had to check out by 10:00am on Saturday. Overpriced and Rip-Off: Considering the abysmal conditions, the price we paid for this beach condo was an absolute rip-off. It's utterly disgraceful to charge guests for such a substandard and appalling experience. In conclusion, I strongly advise against staying at Tilghman Beach & Racquet Club Units. The lack of cleanliness, broken amenities, unprofessional staff, unbearable noise levels, false advertising, and exorbitant prices make it a place to be avoided at all costs. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment and look for better accommodations elsewhere."
"My aunt and uncle bought a place here a couple of years ago, and we fell in love! We are heading back again this year and I'm stoked!!!!! The walk to the beach is not far at all alls you do is cross the street and I actually enjoy that part! The views are awesome over looking the pool, and then you go out the front door and see the main road, and Floyds and the Avista Hotel. It is never too noisy, but it's a very happening place, and then lastly there's plenty of places to eat and shop right within walking distance! MY MAIN GOAL IS TO OWN ONE SOMEDAY!"
"Stayed in unit 361. Was absolutely beautiful. Very up to date, beautiful kitchen and Wi-Fi was spot on. Kids enjoyed the smart tvs at night. Found it on Carolinapalm website and on Vrbo."
"I guess it depends on who you rent your room from. Our place is a little outdated and doesn't come with any thing. And Elliott NOT doing a good job making sure it's getting cleaned! The worst part about it is they are not allowing us in the pool this year which stinks because they still have it clean and lit up. It's hard to tell your children that they can't swim in a perfectly nice pool when they have to walk by it every day!"
