Laguna Keyes Condominium

"I've stayed in Myrtle Beach multiple times. This time I rented Penthouse 7 @ Laguna Keyes. The condo was dirty. The tables were originally white. They are now a dirty grey. It's time to update the furniture. There was hair on the table when we sat down for our 1st meal. We later discovered that hair was left all over the condo. The patio and main bedroom have blinds that are tattered, missing and some are short and some are long. The floors were dirty. The lock is broken on one side of the balcony door. The front room that has double beds someone left the window open. Thank God we checked it since our daughter was sleeping in that room. The property has 1 treadmill and it was broken the entire week. I wasn't told that the penthouses park on level G5 but if you rent a penthouse that's where you park make sure they give you a clicker. You will need the clicker to access penthouse parking located on G5. It's covered parking but beware the spaces are tiny and everyone takes the middle spaces so make sure you can parallel park in tight spaces. You don't need pool passes. The spectrum wifi is spotty. They have ROKU TV in the main family area that you can cast too if that's your thing but we preferred the regular Spectrum Cable in the front room. The patio furniture is old worn out, rusted and needs to be replaced. Water pressure was low. The same keys are used all over the property and sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. There is direct beach access, pools and a lazy river. I don't mind paying the money but this was a tacky penthouse and it's not worth $2600. Stay somewhere else or don't rent PH7."

"Laguna Keyes, condo 1003 needs repairs and updates. Photos online are misleading. Refrigerator leaks water on floor and water and ice dispenser was broke. Mattresses were uncomfortable. Many outlets didn't work. A lot of electrical issues. The master bath light switch did not work unless you reset the GFC outlet every time. Ceiling light in master closet was dangling. Kitchens cabinets were delaminating and filthy inside. Kitchen lacked cookware and silverware. Faucets in bathrooms need repair. Elliott Realty says this unit is updated and top of the line. If that's the case I'd hate to see what isn't updated or top of the line."

"It’s wonderful you can lay on the bed or sit on couch chairs ect and see the beach while watching tv the lazy river is awesome the kids love it the hot tubs are amazing the keys don’t always work great to get in the building the room is well stocked each bedroom has tv closet dressers nightstands ect the kitchen has all the basic things you will need a cookie sheet and more sliverware if you have a big family there is 9 of us we didn’t have enough"

"Nice place to stay for vacation. The rooms are clean. There's an indoor and outdoor pool on the ground level along with a kiddie pool. Then a lazy river, 2 hot tubs, and another kiddie pool a couple floors up. They have a gym too. Affordable prices on the rooms. Overall a good place to stay."

"I love, love, love Laguna Keys. It is located on a quiet section of the beach. The rooms are tastefully decorated however, it is the luck of the draw depending on the style and upkeep of the individual condo owners. It has a wonderful fitness facility with doors and indoor swimming pool (large) with locking doors so you can feel secure. I try to stay here every time I travel to Myrtle Beach!"
