"We have been using Village of Pinehurst Rentals for the last three years as our property management team. We could not be more satisfied as out-of-state owners. Debbie Putz and the entire staff are extremely responsive and attentive. "First, we used this agency to rent our property. Debbie Putz admittedly did not inspect our home before and after a long term renter stayed in our home. At least seven walls were damaged, including pictures and frames that had been hanging on the walls. When inquiring with the renter, Debbie actually amended the damage disclosure to accommodate the renter's version of the condition of our unit. The renter caused other damage within our home which we have not been reimbursed for to date. Village of Pinehurst Rentals permitted guests access into our owner's closet even over our objection. Our personal items were used or missing. We were expected to purchase anything a renter needed, no matter how ridiculous, even if it was excluded on our initial rental disclosures. As an out of state owner, when we re-entered the unit, housekeeping had bags upon bags of unopened towels and linens stacked in the closet. Which begs the question as to what were they using...during COVID? EEK? It took quite some time to go through all the bags, sort the items, clean the linens and organize the linen closet appropriately. At one point, more than half of our linens were removed from the property and not returned until I demanded them back and we didn't even have a renter. I had stayed in a different Village of Pinehurst Rental unit while our home was being rented in July-August 2020. The beds were not even made upon check-in. In fact, the sheets were missing. There were dishes in the dishwasher, a problem that we had experienced at our rental home due to their housekeeping issues. There is more accountability via Airbnb and VRBO, not to mention more rentals, and I would never use this agency again. The managers at this agency need to be managed and the board of realtors need to review their licensing."

"Debbie Putz is the best. She was very accommodating when we first moved to Pinehurst. Super easy to work with. While renting if I ever needed anything, it was easy. A quick call to Debbie and she'd have a repair person out very fast. Highly recommend Village of Pinehurst Rentals! We are now preparing to move out and the process couldn't be simpler."
