"We were lucky enough to have stayed here "Down on the farm" in the "Dove Cottage" for four days with my brother and his wife. The cabin was perfect. It was clean, organized and stocked with the small essentials. One of the owners, Billy was so easy to work with. Communication was spot on. In the end, if you have the need for a large or small event such as a wedding, this place is set up beautifully. They have a large outdoor covered area for many, many people. The cottage is a very nice relaxing, quiet, clean, beautiful and a private place to stay. Well done Billy and Beth. Well done. Thank you Steve M and family"
""First, I would like to say is that I have done a little bit of travelling. I have been in most all of the US States and 33 different countries. I believe that my opinion of a place does have a little weight to my recommendation and I hope that you will find this place as excellent as I did. My wife and I found this little piece of heaven just outside of Nashville, TN to stay for a few days. We couldn't believe the pricing was a low as it was compared to other places to stay in the Nashville area. As we drove up on the property the first evening we stayed and we noticed deer and then also some turkeys. Billy the owner drove up and opened up the Candle Light Cabin for us. He made sure that we had everything we needed and then left. The only time seen him was in the mornings riding his gator to check on the cabins and to pick up the trash. Other than that we were left alone. The Candle Light Cabin is exactly what we wanted. It had a full kitchen, bath, and upstairs loft and 2 full bedrooms, laundry room and a front porch to watch the sunrise and even sunsets. It was very clean and private. It is close to the city of White House, TN a suburb of Nashville, TN. Where there are restaurants, fast food and a Kroger and Walmart Supercenter. On the back of the property my wife and I walked through the pines talking and laughing enjoying our conversations. We did this several times and it just seemed as if something supernatural took place there. Later on we did manage to visit with Billy and his wife Beth who we found to be some great down earth people. We were amazed as they told us how this Stay Down on the Farm came together. We will definitely be back. The tranquility, serenity, and hospitality were out of this world. I am glad to have met such wonderful people and to call them my friends. Thank You, Billy & Beth ""
"The Little Red Farmhouse was wonderful!! Billy and Beth have put a lot of thought into preparing this house for guests. A cute house with lots of space for our family of 5 and our dog. The house is only about 25 minutes from Nashville with good restaurants and grocery stores close by. Loved talking to Billy and Beth. They personally met us at the house even though we arrived late. Great time on the farm!!!!"
"We stayed at the Winningham Farm. Debbie & Dan were the very best of host. We had a wonderful stay.We relaxed on the wrap around porch & roasted marshmallows in the fire pit & grilled on the screened in porch. Enjoyed the beautiful detailed decor in & around the cabin. We fished and waded in the Little River near the cabin, visited the drug store where we had the world's best homemade shakes, canoed, visited Bottom View Farm, & Bright's Antiques/Flea Market. We definitely want to go back sometime when we can pick some blueberries and walk some of the trails. We really didn't have time to do everything we would have liked. The best part of the trip was the wonderful hospitality by the Green's."
"My husband and I stayed in the Red Farm house for a long weekend celebrating my 30th birthday. It was an absolute pleasure staying here. Bill and Beth welcomed us later in the evening due to an 8 hour drive. They showed us around upon arrival and gave us numerous recommendations on where to eat, shop, what to do etc...All of which we took and were just as they described. The property was immaculate. The house was spotless and so welcoming. Our favorite part of the property was the swing down by the pond, it was nice to sit down there in the mornings and evenings to wind down the day. We went for a few walks around the property, so beautiful. We went into Nashville both days we were there and the drive is about 30 mins. Not bad at all. Plus the access to 65 is so easy. Far enough away from the noise but close enough for convenience. My husband and I noted how nice it was to spend time in Nashville but return back to the country to end the day, we found ourselves eager to get back to the house! We absolutely loved our time at Stay Down On The Farm. We will definitely be back!"
