"We stayed at Foxhunt in Oct/Nov 2023 at Sapphire Valley through Wyndham Resorts. When we arrived the check-in place was closed, we had no indications in our reservations that there was a closing time. After searching around in the dark we opened a box and found a number to call. We had to drive another mile to a security center to get our keys and directions to our place. We then had to drive another mile to our place, it was pitch dark and the road was narrow, inclined and NOT LIT AT ALL and the signs hardly visible. The signs had no names just numbers so we had no idea where we were going. The building numbers had nothing to do with the townhome number (bldg 12 14XX ) There was no cell phone reception so imaps didn't work. It took us many u-turns and guesses to finally find the place. There was no light at the top of the stairs to the building and only weakly lit lights along the path that was covered in leaves. I had to use my phone to light the way. We never got a welcome for the whole week stay. The phone had 3 voicemails but we needed a passcode to retrieve them. When I called the front desk they said they didn't know how to retrieve voicemails and would let us know- never happened. We never got room service for the whole week- I guess the pandemic is still on?? The place was nice and large with 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom was downstairs so we had 2 flights of stairs to get to the den and kitchen. There was a nice balcony with chairs but only a view of another building. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots and pans. We had use of a recreation center a mile away with a weight room, indoor pool, game room and putt putt. Outdoor pool was closed for the season. You can also check out games."
"We stayed at Fox Hunt #3421. We stayed here through our time share and we loved it. We stayed in a 3 bedroom tri-level town house. It had 2 balconies and a wood burning fireplace. The Master bedroom and bathroom is huge and includes and indoor jacuzzi tub (really big). The place was nicely furnished and clean. Looked newer. We had a corner spot that was really convenient as well. The few from the third floor was nice, really high up in the trees. The location relative to things to do is good its about 5 miles to get groceries or go out to eat. There's a town called Reverend that is about 45 mins away and well worth the drive. The restaurants close at 9 so make your plans early. I plan to stay here again so we can hike more of the beautiful waterfalls nearby. Give this place a shot. You'll love it"
"Ok so I have stayed here 3 times. The first two time were perfect! This time who ever cleaned the townhouse done a sorry job. When we walked in I immediately noticed crumbs on table, chairs were not even pushed in, you could tell the floor had not been mopped (bathroom and kitchen were pretty bad), hair in the untensil tray, and a few other things. I really hate that someone not doing there job properly makes me have to leave a bad review because this is really a nice place!"
"Had a great weekend with my Family at Fox Hunt Townhomes in Sapphire NC. It was beautiful, quite and near some great sites. Overall the resort has some decent amenities, but I wouldn’t stay if you’re looking for lots of activities. It’s more of a place to spend time together. We went hiking, ate some good food, talked and listened to music. Ya know just spend quality time together. If you enjoy a quiet weekend like that then Fox Hunt is the place for you. Highly recommend."
"As owners, we were informed we would need to stay in a different unit due to our units building was scheduled to be painted the week we would be there, yet each day we drove past it, other people were occupying our building and it was never painted so we could have stayed in our unit! They put us in building 6 and there were cobwebs on the bathroom lights, the unit was very dusty and musty, looks like a leak in the unit with the water spots on the celing downstairs, thick dust on the fan blades in the unit, obviously has horrible cleaning service. Make sure you wash the sheets before you sleep in them or your allergies will kick up and your nose will be stuffy the entire time. Bring your own pillows, theirs are very hard. Ladies at the recreation center we're not friendly, looked at us as if we did not belong there and even asked "what are you doing here?" Tried uploading pictures for proof but of course it won't let me. I did inform Joshua about the rec ladies & spoke to someone about these issues and nothing done about it."
