"We just went here with intentions to go tubing… I had done this as a teenager and wanted my family to experience it! However, we would have had to go back two hours later because we just missed the previous tubing group and we had to go with a guide. They were waiting for three people who didn’t show up to go white water rafting so I asked if we could take their spot and they were happy to give us the spot since the others were a no show no call. This was definitely a meant to be situation because we LOVED the experience and were so happy it worked out this way! The tubing is also fun but not as much fun as rafting! We had the amazing Ricky Bobby as our guide and he definitely showed out for us and was a great time! When booking next season I would definitely recommend asking for Ricky Bobby!!! He makes the experience so much better! The guide in the other raft was also amazing as are the rest but we just LOVED Ricky Bobby’s personality! We will definitely come back here if we come back to the smokies! It was an experience that myself, my husband, and my 14 year old daughter will never forget! Happy birthday Ricky Bobby! "Our family's whitewater rafting trip with 5 Rivers Adventures was among our most satisfying travel experiences ever. Their attention to detail combined with their upbeat attitudes was awesome. "This was our first time ever white water rafting and I'm glad that it was a fairly easy course to tackle. Our amazing guide KK, did great by guiding us on how to properly paddle, when to actually paddle and ever educated us about the different levels and what to expect from them. We had plenty of moments where we did not have to paddle and were able to just enjoy the current taking us. We even got the chance to hop into the water, which was amazing considering we didn't think that we would have had the option to do so. We had an absolute blast and would definitely be coming back sometime with our son!"

"We recently did a family rafting trip with 6 people, including an 8 year old. 5 Rivers Rafting did a great job and our guide, Joseph, was amazing. This company doesn’t have tons of boats like some of the others, which I like so you don’t feel so much like just a number, and the guides “customize” for your group (as much as they can). Joseph was so nice and attentive to our 8 year old and made sure the old ones in the boat were comfortable. This was one of the highlights of our family’s vacation. We booked with 5 Rivers because we had a discount, and really didn’t know anything about any of the companies in this area, but we will use them whenever we go rafting again, no discount needed!"
