Pilot Cove

"We had the best time! Views were great! Walking trail was challenging but fun! We enjoyed the serene relaxing time but close to so many fun things in Brevard. Our only negative was that it was really hard to get the place warm. There are two split units in our cabin and we both had to bundle up under blankets to stay comfortable!"

"My wife and I wanted to get away for a little after Christmas. The lodge was clean and neat with a unique design. It was convenient for our day hikes and to local restaurants and shopping. We will make it a regular stay during our trips to the mountains."

"The cabin at Pilot Cove was very clean and had very comfortable bed. The deck outside was beautifully designed with a lovely view. I would suggest adding more items in the kitchen. Tupperware, spatulas, meat thermometer(we bought one and left it for the next guest). We will definitely go back and just pack some extra kitchen utensils."

"We had a great time! The cabin was very nice; whoever thought of putting a mud room inside the front door was brilliant. It was the perfect place to drop hiking boots, poles, and packs. The kitchen was well appointed (although you must try the food trucks and craft beer at The Hub at the bottom of the hill!) Beds were comfortable, the shower had great pressure and the towels plentiful. Although the cabins are fairly close together, the back porches are private. Wonderful wooded views. Our only complaint (and it’s a small one) is that housekeeping used an overpowering scented air freshener (?). We had the windows and porch doors open for a couple of days to get rid of the smell and let in fresh air. All in all we loved Pilot Cove! We’ll be back!"

"Terrific location at the entrance to Pisgah National Forest. Easy access to hiking trails and restaurants. Our cabin was very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The washer and dryer were a real plus after being on muddy trails. The back deck was a great place to eat and to sit and read. We were sent an access code for the cabin so, with no check in, it felt like we were staying in our own cabin in the woods. We will definitely go back."
