"What a beautiful place to spend a vacation or just a quick getaway! The rustic appearance and the antique memorabilia inside brings some back to a simpler time or others to a time they want to learn more about. The gorgeous views and the evening breeze is the most relaxing place I have ever seen. Mountains surround this heavenly place and the Inn keepers treat you like family! A true treat is Mr. Ted's grits and home made apple butter! You won't be disappointed!"

"I have been to the inn & lake 3 times now since last summer, each time bringing with me different friends and they are all amazed by this place! I’m hooked & excited to come to Lagoalinda Inn each summer. We love all the nearby amenities & activities just a few steps across the street from the inn (mini-golf, shuffle board, swimming pool, tennis & volleyball courts too). Enjoyed canoeing, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding & 2-4 mile walk/hiking trail around the lake... Inn keepers, Mrs. Ruth & Mr Ted are always such gracious hosts who make our stay super relaxing! Stayed in a different room each time I’ve stayed & all rooms are very quaint & clean. Highly recommend it!"

"Our family has been staying here for years! We have grown to love the Inn and the Innkeeper's like our own home and family. The Lakeview Lagoalinda Inn is in a perfect location across the street from a small park, shuffleboard, tennis, and very close by, the pool and Rose Walk. If you want a private home, the owners also offer quiet Cokesbury Cabin and Junaluska Cabin just steps from the meeting areas and chapel. We love every minute we spend rocking on the porch at Lagoalinda. There is a kitchen and large dining room that makes mealtime a breeze if you don't feel like going out. The large living room gives all of us a chance to make new friends. Each room is theme decorated and tries to hold on to yesteryear with heirloom decor while offering comfortable beds, private bath and free WIFI. Come on and give it a try- my family sure is glad we did all those years ago."

"For our confirmation retreat Lagoalinda was, and has been, the perfect locale. Walking distance to Shackford and considerably larger than the exterior seems. All of the rooms are themed and adorable, and the porch with rocking chairs is lovely to sit and overlook the lake. The fireplace was perfect for the rainy evening. I love Lagoalinda and hope to continue to be able to stay with each new confirmation class."
