"So, they are clearly spending their money on trying to update the place…BUT…..it still smells like cleaner when you walk in the door. Big cockroach noted outside before entering. Ordered a shrimp quesadilla which is nothing like it used to be……they’re smaller, using tiny shrimp (and hardly any in it) and no beans and rice with it. Our waiter seemed angry and never came back to offer us refills and we couldn’t find him when we wanted to pay our bill. The bathrooms are disgusting. Sorry! Won’t be back."

"The food is good but not fantastic The service does leave a lot to be desired it really does I was disappointed with that and she's reflected in my review and rating. The atmosphere is okay but again the service tends to detract from the overall. I thought it rather disconcerting to see Staff mixing drinks behind the bar and drinking them in Plainview whether alcoholic or not and also do not appreciate serving staff wandering around chewing gum."

"Positive: They have a nice outdoor eating area and the service was good. Not so positive: Interior decor is really lacking. I've never seen such an unfinished looking ceiling in a restaurant before. The next negative is the restaurant is just a wide open echo chamber. Now there was a somewhat loud party next to us but man, it made Cracker Barrel sound quiet. It was impossible to talk. Finally, the food was not bad, but it was the most bland Mexican food I'd ever had. There are much better options for tasty Mexican food everywhere. We won't be returning anytime soon."

"Our waiter was amazing. He went out of his way to accommodate us. That is excellence. Food was delicious. Prices were reasonable."
