"We stayed there the first week of December for five days. Second day there We had snow, It was totally awesome everything you can ask for, comfortable, clean lots of space. Close to the ski slopes, beautiful atmosphere and scenery. Couldn’t ask for anything more would definitely stay there again and again and again!!!"
"I spent 5 days at Standing Bear Lodge and it was truly magical. The house was perfect with plenty of space, lovely decor, wide porches and deer saying good morning every day. You could spend the entire day at the house and have a great time but then you would miss the plethora of things to do - hiking, beautiful vistas, quaint towns, skiing, charming shops and awesome restaurants. It is really an ideal experience."
"Amazing! This lodge is incredible! So beautiful. A pristine vacation spot with lots of room! The decorative touches from the owners make you feel right at home and very special. Such a beautiful location with incredible views from multiple decks. The hot tub is an added bonus! Both inside and outside are so comfortable with lots of seating and even a fire pit on the deck. It's centrally located to so many things; skiing, hiking, waterfalls, and quaint little shopping areas. I highly recommend this place whether you'd like to ski at Beech Mountain, just minutes down the road, or whether you would just like to experience the beauty, hiking, and amazing wonders of Western North Carolina!"
"Incredibly clean, beautifully finished, private home but very close to amenities and skiing! Everything is like brand new in the home, super clean! Easy to get to mountain top for skiing, speeding and all that Beech mountain has to offer. Would definitely go back!"
