"Just got home from an amazing vacation in Ocean Isle, N.C. Sloan Reality was the very best company to work with!! Laurie was the most helpful person ever. Answered all my questions starting way back in the planning stages of this vacation last winter. All her recommendations were wonderful. We had an issue with the freezer at the house that we rented, and they took care of it for us right away. Always pleasant and helpful. We will rent from them again next vacation for sure!!"

"It was a good place to come rest after a full day at the beach. The location is the best part about ocean isle inn. Most of the staff were not super friendly but professional. I don't think for the price and amenities, we would come back. But it was a good introduction to north Carolina beaches. I should mention that there was only one other POC staying at the hotel while we were there."

"We had a horrible experience! Our vacation started off with broken spindles on the front porch which was two story. Babies could fall through. Front porch light didn’t work all week. Lights on stairs inside going to upstairs bedrooms didn’t work all week. Mattresses and pillows disgusting. Blood and urine stains. Kitchen sink stopped up. Dishwasher broken. Floors filthy. Rugs all through house filthy. Carpets filthy. Kitchen not stocked as it was advertised. Most disgusting was the house is infested with German roaches. Roaches in everything. Had to sit the toaster and coffee pot on front porch. Exterminator came out and said no way to get rid of the roaches unless we vacated the house for hours for treatment. Then housekeeping would have to come back out and clean. This was not an option with two small kids in the house. Exterminator also said do not take your bags in your house when you get home, because we would take roaches into our houses. Rep from Sloane came out agreed with all the issues in the house. Took stock of the kitchen and even threw away food left in cabinets from previous visitors. Maintenance came out to fix sink and dishwasher. Lights couldn’t be fixed. Front porch and front steps pitch dark at night. Maintenance said there was and electrical issue. We were told we would get cleaning fee refund. Rep also told us to talk about a fair compensation for all our troubles and they would get with homeowner and get back with us. We gave them an amount. They didn’t get back with us we had to contact them and were told there would be no further compensation. Sloane does not advocate for their customers. They just take your money and run."

"Rented Beach Villas unit B2, but we were completely underwhelmed! Starting with a broken sliding glass door off the rails to an understocked kitchen, broken towel racks, Blood stained and dirty comforters,and on and on. We have been renting along these NC/SC coasts through various companies for 50+ years and this one is definitely at the bottom of the list. Location is prime A+ for sure, but all the other nonsense including multiple calls and voicemails to the rental office wasting time on my precious vacation. I sent an email directly to the office and got no response so here I am leaving a review for all to see. If Sloane reads their reviews, they will most likely know exactly who I am because I had to call so many times and leave voicemails. We rented from 7/9 -7/16. Any repairs or upgrades that need done are easy fixes. Provide promised linens and bedding for all beds and people so I don’t have to call and wait for extra bedding to be delivered.Just stock the kitchen for basic cooking, wash the comforters once in a while(blood stains)so I don’t have to!! make minor repairs on doors, windows ,towel racks, old , cracked patio furniture etc. We had a group of 30+ people renting from several companies and the consensus was that Sloane was lacking and I mean when I say we are low maintenance! Those of us that rented through Sloane will NEVER use them again! If you see this particular unit BEACH VILLAS B2 BEWARE. The pictures are not an accurate representation! Maybe 10 years ago or whenever it was first upgraded. Again , Anything that needs to be fixed or replaced is easy to do. And a major cleaning would help including all outer bedding.Still waiting for some sort of response!"
