"Enjoyed sitting on the porch feeding the fish. There's also a good sized snapping turtle that lives in the pond. Saw a hawk and a crane is a frequent visitor."

"This is an amazing stay right outside Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. Easy to find and quiet. We booked through Airbnb and would definitely stay again. It’s a studio style room, equipped with a mini fridge and the cutest little stove. Everything you could possibly need was there and much cheaper than local hotels with a nicer ambiance."

"Lydia’s cottage on the pond is a gem! It was quiet and peaceful here and the location is just perfect. A few minutes from town and just half an hour from Gatlinburg, an hr drive to Cades Cove and Clingmans Dome, all beautiful destinations! It was so nice to come back to her peaceful cottage in the evenings after hiking, etc. I stayed in two cabins and both were really lovely and cozy inside and each had their own theme, plenty of supplies for cooking, basics like towels, soap etc. highly recommend if you want a peaceful little getaway and book early the cabins fill up fast! "Super cute place right by the pound. Pet friendly and a fantastic place for a couple to get away!! Far enough away to not have to listen to the touristy stuff but close enough to enjoy it if to want to. Very quiet place..... just sit outside and listen to the fountain in the pond. A great place to enjoy the Smokies!!! I could not recommend Lydia higher!! Beautiful place to just chill out"

"Had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It is very unique as it is built over a pond, you can fish right off the front deck. Cottage was clean and provided lots of relaxation. I wouldn't recommend more than 2 people and maybe a dog ,small but cozy."
