"I train out of Alliance BJJ Roswell in GA and I was visiting family for Thanksgiving in the area. I stopped in for the open mat Crest hosted on Friday morning however I was a bit hesitant since I'm nursing some injuries acquired the previous week competing at the IBJJF Atlanta open, but I decided to give it a try anyways. I can tell you, everyone I met and rolled with at Crest was very nice and friendly. I didnt feel like these guys were out to take my head off which, can often be the case with many open mats. A great mix of good technical jiu jitsu and pace/intensity which allowed me to work around my injuries and work specific positions. I brought my 7yr old daughter to the 5pm kids open mat the same day. Again, a good mix of age and skill with lots of kids to roll with. They had multiple coaches on the mat directing traffic so the kids stayed safe and got plenty of rolls in. Overall seems like they have a strong kids program. If you live in the area and are considering learning jiujitsu, I would recommend Crest BJJ. From what I have experienced they have very friendly and knowledgeable instructors and a good kids program."
"I started at Crest part time as a way to cross train for running. I was an avid runner training for my 6th 50 mile race when I started BJJ. After the first class I knew I loved it. After I finished that race I pretty much stopped running so that I could focus my energy on Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. The people at Crest were so amazing. You get high level coaching from the staff, but the more experienced grapplers are more than willing to help you during the rolls as well. They have developed a group of people that are all genuinely invested in seeing everyone in the room get better. My 7 y/o daughter has been attending classes now for over a year and she loves it as well. Their children's program is top notch as evidenced by the hardware they bring home from every competition they go to. If you're not into competing though they do not pressure you to do so. I truly recommend BJJ for the whole body workout you'll get. I recommend Crest for the excellent atmosphere and attention to detail that you'll get."
"Traveling around the US training with various friends when we got referred to Crest BJJ. This is a great academy, very friendly and also very professional. Great mix of new and advanced students, co-Ed participation, rolling at high levels with great energy and skill. Detailed instruction and great energy from all of the instructors. Large well-maintained mat space with good lighting and plenty of space for the 20+ students to roll at 05:45 class. No-Gi and Gi classes offered, evening Gi class was about 30 students with plenty of room for rolls and everyone was having a great time. Mats were cleaned immediately after each class. Plenty of changing rooms and space for shoes and gym bags. Highly recommended."
"I did a drop-in class while visiting family in Surf City. Crest BJJ was more than accommodating, nice clean facility, and great instruction from the staff. If you’re in the area do yourself a favor and train at Crest BJJ!!"
"Crest BJJ is great for the whole family! My son started training almost 2 years ago and almost immediately we noticed an increase in his confidence, coordination, and discipline, which had positive impacts in other sports and in school. Once he started taking me down in our living room, I decided to start training at Crest. It's an intense workout! The coaches are amazing, the desire to improve keeps me motivated to train, and multiple classes makes it easy to fit into my schedule. My wife has taken a few of the woman's self defense classes and loved it as well. Highly recommend training here!"
