"Recently began private instruction with Master Tricoli in the areas of knife constructing/building (specifically included milling a wooden practice knife modeled after the real deal, which was on-sight) out of raw materials, instruction on using parachord to lace the handle, sanding to smoother edges to ensure minimal-to-no injury during training, etc. Topics discussed were a brief history of the knife, knife nomenclature, as well as various uses for the tool/weapon. Master Tricoli has and incorporates an extensive amount of information, knowledge, & wisdom in his instruction. He's extremely patient in his explanation (as I personally have minimal experience and no prior formal training in this area). He is as professional as one could hope for...and then some. But what stands out the most is Master Tricoli's true passion for the arts/weapons training/survival prepatory, and an eagerness to share his knowledge to better anyone under his instruction. If you're seeking a cookie-cutter, generic, franchise-type experience....this may not be for you.
