"I have been playing golf for 40 years and never been consistent because of not knowing what I was really doing. I became very frustrated and started searching for something on you tube and ran across a video of Dan explaning what the club should be doing during the release. I was very interested in what he was saying because it was so different from what most golf instructors teach. I set up a lesson with Dan and it was by far the best lesson I ever had period!!!! looking forward to working with Dan on other parts of the game and getting back shooting in the 60s"
"I discovered Dan on Instagram and with video swing analysis and live video lessons, he has taught me the correct way to swing. My swing was a handle pull and hard turn and it was creating back and hip problems. Dan has taught me a swing that is much easier on the body and when I do it correctly, much less effort. Everything he teaches is contrary to all the lessons I have taken over the years from renowned teachers; his swing allows you to cast, to cup the left wrist, to chicken wing, to swing with your arms….Dan is patient, he is unyielding, he knows just what to correct and how to correct it and he really cares. If he can have such an impact on my golf game over the phone, I can only imagine what he can do in person. I am planning to fly to Raleigh soon for a live lesson and to thank him in person for all that he has done for my game."
"I’m a 10 index and took lessons from Dan starting in October of 2023. My previous instruction over last 5 years was a couple random lessons and a lot of Instagram. In my first lesson Dan showed me why the conventional “turn your body” and “pull the handle” ideas are misunderstood by most amateurs. My swing before Dan produced wild hooks I was getting better at controlling to now hitting solid fades and a much simpler swing. My contact pattern on my irons is way more consistent and my misses are in the fairway. It’s been 5 lessons over a couple months and I’m really happy with the results. Hope to be consistent low 80s by Spring."
"Pure gold. I lean on Dan's YouTube stuff as support for my in-person instructor (who is also terrific!). One, their teachings are very similar, although the terms used differ somewhat. Two, they teach what is correct for most amateurs, which directly opposes some of what is considered "conventional wisdom" (pull the handle, delay the hit, & other B.S...for most). As for Dan himself, his YT stuff is straightforward and to the point; he doesn't ramble on to fill 5-10 min video. He also demonstrates his concepts himself & with visual aides that help you see WHY what he says is technically correct. Dan is the best online instructor I've seen."
