Champions in Motion

"Fees are ridiculous! You have to pay to watch your child compete, then you have to pay $50-65.00 for your child to attend and you have to drive up to 4 hours (up to 8 hours in a day or longer) or get a hotel room without notice of completion times/dates to prepare. Little to no communication with the organization, if you have an issue with the policy, CIM will direct you back to the coach. Half of the time, the coach is not aware of the policy. Certain cheer teams are favored than others! Why pay to compete when the team is already set to lose!!?"

"At this moment I am at the competitions in Davenport... It seems absolutely abusive that we parents have to pay an entrance fee to be able to see our daughters in their presentation when they have already paid $45 for each registration fee and also $5 for a medal. stake. I understand that perhaps limiting the number of people per child would be good but charging the parents themselves is unnecessary. The girls in our group were told NO makeup, NO lumps, and most of the other teams had everything. There should be the same rules for all groups. I also noticed groups in which there were notably girls with a very marked age difference and it doesn't seem fair to me, clearly very big girls can do a better job carrying very small girls and obviously their lifts will turn out very well... they should all be in the same age range or then allow all teams to mix their ages. No less important, I thought that the event was very poorly organized. At the entrance they did charge us but we were not told where the girls should go, it took a long time to find our coach. Girls in their immaturity do not understand much about these things, but for a parent who has to make so many sacrifices, it is uncomfortable to have to pay so much and come across these things. They even allowed me to take a photo of the girls in the competition area when there weren't even other people there... It was just a photo for our memory. I thought it was a very rude act."
