"I, along with my two young sons (7 and 5 year olds), joined this studio about two months ago and have been absolutely loving it. The training for the kids is terrific. Every class is different so the kids are always trying new things. For adults, it is an incredibly humbling discipline but also a fun one. The classes can be very technical from a BJJ perspective but there is also a lot of real-life practical applications that can be used for self-defense. The best part of the studio is the welcoming community that Professor Wander and his fellow coaches have created. On my first day, every single person in class came up to me and introduced themselves and all of them were willing to work with me and help guide me along. I was a complete novice to the sport and knew absolutely nothing coming in, but I never felt intimidated or overwhelmed. The community is the best thing about this studio.
