Reviews of Veterinary Emergency Group
"Our dog had an ear wound which was bleeding pretty bad, the staff immediately triaged him and was able to control the bleeding. The people were amazing and the open concept was a welcome change to a typical vet or animal ER. We felt included from start to finish and not having to hand over our pet and wait eliminated the stress of the unknown. I hope we never have to take our pets to an animal ER ever again but if we do this is where we will go!"
"I am so thankful for the care that this facility had taken for my dog, Margo. She had an accident leaving four puncture wounds in her side. They immediately did what they could to make her as comfortable as possible while we waited for them to be able to get her on a table and really evaluate the site. The way they took the time to really explain to me what was wrong, while concurrently working on her was amazing. After she was released from VEG and taken to her primary vet, they were SO happy with how well VEG had done in cleaning and dressing the wound. I really think the initial care given to her, saved her life. I am forever grateful for what they did for us, especially given how busy they were when we were there. Thank you so much Veterinary Emergency Group for all you do to help our fur babies!!"
"My beloved dog Minnie got into a bottle of Rimadyl and ate an unknown quantity while I was at work and my fiancé was out of town. I was weeping and panicked when I arrived at VEG, and the entire time Minnie was there (48 hours), everyone was so open, friendly, and caring. They were incredibly knowledgeable and calm, and that helped me and my family feel so much better. The private rooms were awesome, allowing us to be with Minnie during her treatments, snuggling her and keeping her calm, and the 24 hour open door was such a comfort for all of us, knowing we could see her and stay as long as we wanted. Minnie got to come home last night, and I am so grateful for the vets at VEG working around the clock to make my puppy healthy. Highly recommend!!!"
"This was my first time using VEG and as a human healthcare provider, I know the open/involved model of care is NOT easy for providers. You’d never know that at VEG. From the second e we walked in to the second we walked out we were treated like celebrities. The team descended on her (my dog, Flo) like a well oiled machine and kept me abreast and part of each decision and treatment. I can’t tell you what that means to an owner. The other thing that surprised me was how even at night, in a mixed species ER clinic with an open concept…it was calm, clean and quiet. I could hear staff talking to and soothing other pets even though the owner was probably at home in bed. I got the sense they really cared. I hope I never have to go back. But if I do I know we’ll be in excellent hands."
"I cannot say enough positive and wonderful things about this emergency practice!! We came in with our dog who was in labor with a puppy stuck in her canal. We live an hour away and all the clinics near us didn’t give us the time of day when we were expressing that this was a life or death situation for our puppies. We arrived at VEG and saw a doctor and had an ultrasound completed within 3 minutes of arriving… absolutely unheard of at any other practice (and trust me, we’ve been to plenty as Labrador breeders). Not only were they efficient and knowledgeable, but they were so kind and made us feel right at home. This team went above and beyond caring for our sweet momma and her 11 babies. They even let me watch the procedure! The staff is direct and doesn’t dilly dally around when it comes to treating our beloved pets. They are quick to identify the problem and get treatment started right away. I will ALWAYS be coming to this practice for any of my pet emergencies going forward. Definitely worth the drive for peace of mind and quality care. Thank you guys for caring of Mercy and her sweet babies… you saved their lives and we are so appreciative!"
