Reviews
"Perfect place for a good workout. It's limited to UNCW students, faculty, staff, and alumni. However, the facility is top notch and plenty for workout activities. There is an indoor and outdoor pool, free weights area, basketball courts, indoor soccer area, treadmills, and ellipticals. Plenty of room and lots of classes as well."
"Stop scrolling and read this review. I can't express enough how impressed I am with this facility. I served more than a decade as a Marine and the best facilities pale in comparison to the amenities, flexibility and- most importantly- the friendliness of the staff. Free to students, complementary lockers, locks and towels are just a few of the quality of life wins of the rec center. Don't skip this. You paid for it, use it!"
"S tier gym. Been to other public gyms in the (70$-80$) a month range and they pale in comparison. Only personal request I have is for a hack squat machine."
"Something for everyone in this rec center. Very clean, friendly staff and amazing options for exercising. Free weights, machines, climbing wall, basketball, swimming, volleyball, soccer, body bags, treadmills and elypticals galore. Seems to be very secure; I couldn't bring my coffee inside and to access you have to walk through stalls that detect metal."
"I like coming here to exercise there are approx.114 cardio machines. This facility is only for students, faculty/staff and alumni. However, they are allowed 2 guests $5 per person. The people at the front desk area are super knowledgeable about the facility, the group exercise classes are pretty nice, I go with my friends all the time."
