"The North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service is an amazing treasure that we are lucky to have in this state. They provide numerous services, many of which I don't even know. They have publications and an online database about many topics such agriculture, forestry, lawn and garden, pest management, horticulture, food safety and the environment. The Plant and Insect Disease Clinic is an especially helpful service that is provided. All of the staff are friendly and eager to serve. They make extra effort to see that you get what you need. Many of their services are free. Others are low-cost."
