"Svetlana was God sent to us especially when we realized our dog plans wouldn't work at Smoky mountains. We called her at off hours just by fluke, and all our prayers were answered. Her registration process was easy and she took care of our Sam the next day itself. We could enjoy our trip here without any worry. "This place is incredible. Svetlana and family are very accommodating, welcoming, and, most of all, clearly invested in the animals under their care. Our two miniature schnauzers had a fabulous time during their two-day day camp stay. You can tell she gets to know each dog because, when we retrieved the dogs, she asked if they had seen cows before. Our dogs, who are city dogs through and through, had never seen livestock before and were apparently bemused by the large bovines. We will definitely be bringing our two pups back to Barkenhowl on our next visit to Tennessee."

"Svitlana and her family were so great and kind! They were recommended to us by a family member. The place just opened a few months ago. It is clean, well located, secured and with a beautiful landscape surrounded by nature, a very relaxing ambience for your pup, adding to the fact that they have a limited number of kennels allowing them to get individual attention. We live about an hour away and are willing to drive there just because we know our pup will be in good hands, so while we are on vacation our dog will also be enjoying himself. We could easily see how comfortable our boy was in every photo/video, so much so that my "skittish" pup happily snuggled next to her daughter! (Which from experience we know he has to feel safe and happy to do! :)). We have boarded him two times now, and the second time, he got very excited when we told him he would be staying at the Barkenhowl Resort and during the drop-off he didn't even look back to "say bye" to us lol.. We can really tell he is being loved and spoiled. Thank you so much again for letting Spritz spend time at your pet resort; he can't wait to come back!!!
