Walmart Neighborhood Market

"Overall it's a great place to shop with great emplorees. A good local grocery store. The real reason I'm writing a review is because of the renovation taking place. It appears that whoever designed the new layout has decided to make long cramped aisles for customers and employees alike to create more frustration while shopping. Instead of the smooth functionality of the half aisles with an easy to get around middle pathway. But apparently, change for the sake of change is at play here rather than what works."

"12/08/23 just after 6pm The woman at the deli was incredibly rude. She impatiently told us to hold on. I understand busy, truly don’t mind waiting. However tonality speaks volume & I prefer to be spoken to kindly. I brushed it off because everyone has a bad day but she gaslit me next. She tried lying about the weigh machine being clean prior to the pile of meat she tried selling me. She had left a pile of crusty old meat on the weighing machine that was obviously there for an extended period. Meat that looks crunchy from being so dry isn’t from the meat just placed on the machine. I actually tried taking a picture prior but felt rude so I stopped and tried to brush it off because I had assumed there would be no way that she would proceed before cleaning it. But I was clearly wrong in assuming that. She was visibly upset and stopped talking after I called her out gently for misrepresenting that it was clean prior. She tried to argue to which I stated that I had seen it dirty before she added the meat to the weigh machine. This is truly not ok. I have a compromised immune system and would like to be able to trust items prepared by staff at any Walmart. Will be calling the health department & I hope there’s some retraining because she will end up making someone either very sick or killing them if they have serious health issues like me. It takes nothing to be kind and it’s definitely a decision. I wish she had made a different choice and had been kind."

"You'll find most everything you need here. Walk in to find fresh produce on your right. Jalapeño chips make a nice topping for a Jimmy Dean breakfast bowl and a potato cake in the morning with your coffee and maybe an avocado. I get it all here. Bakery section and Deli pass. Pet food cans and kibble. Household stuff like plasticware, paper plates, towels, and next to the pharmacy and otc drugs and hair dyes, mouthwash, and so much more. Prices are always Walmart fair and shelves are always full and neat. But what is this Neighborhood Market's best feature? The folks who work there. Always smiling and ready to help you out. Check-outs are self service and if you'd like they'll gladly ring up your order for you. Plenty of sweet ladies at check-out. Very respectful, courteous and proud of our veterans."

"This was my first time going here. I didn't buy anything. I came in for my first shot of the covid-19 vaccine. I was extremely surprised at how easy it was to setup my appointment for the vaccine online. Very user friendly. The tech and the pharmacist were very helpful and friendly. Short wait time. That being said, the store was very clean. I was greeted several times while walking around inside. Will definitely make this place a permanent stop in my routine. Very welcoming environment."
