"If I could give a lower rating I would I'm not sure where to start during this whole disappointing experience the vet was cold and callous and was more concerned about money than the welfare of my pet after paying $500 I feel like I received the absolute minimum level of care and effort for my beloved pet. I paid for X-rays they did not even x-ray the primary area in question simply referring me to my primary vet for further X-rays the receptionist was rude to my daughter and son the vet,in speaking with my wife, was cold callous and more interested in the economics of the situation then providing compassionate Care I will under no circumstances return to the UT veterinarian school and I would encourage anyone with a pet needing emergency care to go anywhere elsebut here"
"Not impressed at all when I brought my dog. They wanted $$$$ for surgery and our chiropractor has gotten the dog back to normal in less than a month. I met 3rd year 'students' that know very little about basic care and common sense care, like nutition."
"Absolutely wonderful. We had a dog get scratched in the eye by a cat and it was serious. They saw him right away, made sure he was comfortable, provided excellent care and easy to follow care instructions for after he came home. They have an ophthalmologist team on sight for emergencies like this one, and within 4 hours he was back home with us and happy."
"I wish I did not have to post a negative review, but I want to warn others. I waited months to get my pup into a Neurologist, and when the appointment came- I was seen by an internal medicine resident. I realize it is a teaching hospital, however, I should of been told this before I wasted my money and time with a resident who was clearly not knowledgeable to deal with a very difficult chronic case of seizures. The 4th year med student who did the intake was much better than the resident. The resident was not only ill prepared, but lacked all bedside manner and empathy. I know this is normally a great place to bring your pets, and I unfortunately was unlucky this time. But, I am extremely disappointed, as I sit here and watch my baby continue to seize."
"Excellent care and service provided by Soft Tissue Surgical Team. Thank you to Dr. Anglin and Kate Stanford for their communication regarding our dog. They seemed to take a personal interest in him and his care and outcome. We highly recommend!"
